ăquĭla, ăquĭlae
ăquĭla , ae, f. gen. aquilāï, Gr μελανάετος; cf. Engl. eagle; Fr. aigle; Germ. Adler I. an eagle.
Sight is the strongest of all eagle senses. The eagle has a visual acuity up to 8 times that of humans. This acuity enables eagles to spot potential prey from a very long distance. Eagle eyes are angled 30 degrees away from center of the face, which gives eagles a greater field of view. Eagles can see five basic colors to our three, and can detect UV light.
At Aquilae we view all facets of the investment universe, taking in the entire spectrum of opportunities. Like the eagle, we spot opportunity on the micro level, and are able to capitalize with efficiency and precision .
